CARINGBRIDGE: the story of Bethany's illness and progress. Bethany is the seven-year-old daughter of Tony and Samantha, who operate this website. She had a serious liver condition, and received a liver transplant in January 2009. Her family have been very grateful for the facilities of Eckersley House, the Sick Children's Trust "home from home" at St James' Hospital in Leeds.
